Children & Youth
New City Church welcomes and loves your children!
We believe each child can experience the wonderful love of God through the Children’s Ministry at New City. Our vision is that each child would know the forever love of Christ and know that God sent Jesus Christ to rescue them.
We desire to accomplish this vision by:
Establishing an atmosphere of love and laughter so that each child may experience the love of Christ from the volunteers caring for them.
Choosing curriculum that would teach and share the “forever love of Christ” with each child.
Sharing the love of Christ to the families of New City by ministering to the spiritual and physical needs of their children.
Nursery ChildCare on Sunday mornings
Nursery/Childcare is available at each of our two services. You may drop your child off as early as 10 minutes before each service. Please pick your child up after you have taken communion.
First Service: 9 am*
Sweet Peas (babies age 6 weeks - 18 months)
Sprouts (19 months - 3 years)
Twigs (children ages 4 and 5 years old)
Second Service 10:45 am*
Sweet Peas & Sprout combined (6 weeks - 3 years)
* We are occasionally forced to limit availability if we reach maximum capacity.
Nursing Mothers Area
Nursing mothers and infant caregivers are welcome to use rom 201 upstairs, where there will also be an audio stream of the sermon. Nursing mothers are also welcome to feed their children in the sanctuary, lobby, or any other location they are most comfortable.
Youth Group
Middle school and High School
Our youth meet weekly on Sunday evenings from 5-6:30 p.m. at New City Church and every second Saturday of every other month. For more information contact Taylor Bradbury at taylor@newcityindy.org.
Rooted
Kindergarten through 5th Grade
Rooted is a ministry for children kindergarten through 5th grade. It is our desire that through this ministry your child will become rooted in a deeper understanding of the gospel and the character of God. Rooted meets most Sunday evenings from 5-6:30 at New City Church. For more information contact Emily Winter at emily@newcityindy.org.

Where do I sign-in my kids for child care and Children’s Worship?
Instructions for check-in are located on the table in the lobby. Please head upstairs with your child. Our volunteers in each of the three rooms are there to assist you with checking in your child/children for service. If you have additional question, feel free to contact Erin Winders (erin@newcityindy.org).
Where are the classrooms?
All three Sunday morning nursery/childcare rooms are located upstairs.
How can I volunteer for the Children’s Ministries?
Volunteers are required to complete a background check, application and have been in attendance at New City Church for at least 6 months, and to have completed our children’s ministry training. Parents of children in our kids programs are encouraged to volunteer. Please contact Erin Winders erin@newcityindy.org for volunteer information.
